1. Remove camshaftsSee: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Camshaft - Removal.
2. Specification - clearance = change.
3. Decrease tappet thickness by change figure.
4. Install camshafts See: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Camshaft - Installation.
5. Verify that valve lash is correct.

Clearance too Large

1. Remove camshaftsSee: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Camshaft - Removal.
2. Clearance - specification = change.
3. Increase tappet thickness by change figure.
4. Install camshaftsSee: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Camshaft - Installation.
5. Verify that valve lash is correct.
