Oil Pressure Switch (For Fuel Pump): Service and Repair
Oil Pressure Switch - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair
3. Remove the front skid plate, if equipped See: Body and Frame/Frame/Skid Plate/Service and Repair/Skid Plate - Removal
4. Remove the splash shield from the right side frame rail See: Body and Frame/Fender/Front Fender/Front Fender Liner/Service and Repair/Splash

5. Remove the accessory drive belt See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal
6. Remove the three bolts (2) and reposition the A/C compressor (1).
7. Disconnect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.
8. Remove the oil pressure switch using oil pressure socket C-4597 (1) or equivalent.
