Gearshift Knob - Installation
INSTALLATION
The gearshift knob or boot with a manual transmission is not removable. If the gear shift knob or boot are damaged the gearshift mechanism will need to
be replaced.
Gearshift Mechanism - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Remove gear shift boot.
2. Remove the center console assembly. Remove rear power window switch (if equipped) and disconnect harness from console.
NOTE: Cable is pushed into a rubber grommet.
3. Remove select cable (2) from shift lever (1).
4. Remove shift cable retaining clip (3) and disconnect cable (2) from the shift lever (1).
