Master Cylinder Bolts
INSTALLATION
1. Attach the master cylinder to the power booster. Install the attaching nuts (2). Tighten the nuts to the specified torque, 13-25 Nm (115-220 in. lbs.)

2. Connect the brake pipe fittings to the master cylinder.Tighten the lines to the specified torque, 20 Nm (180 in. lbs.).
3. Fill the master cylinder reservoirs to within 6.3 mm (1/4 in) of each rim with brake fluid specified as DOT 3, or J17O3 Motor Automobile
Brake Fluid.

Removal
WARNING: The master cylinder, modulator, accumulator assembly is serviced as an assembly only. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair
these units. Normal working pressure is 1650-2050 PSI, care must be taken when pumping system down, loosening and/or disconnecting any
pressure lines.
REMOVE
1. Pump system pressure down by turning ignition Off and applying brake pedal 45-50 times until pedal becomes firm.
2. Disconnect battery.
