Reinstall the secondary line into the secondary outlet port with a 12 mm tube nut wrench. Tighten the fitting to 10 ft.lbs (13.6 N-m). Do Not
over tighten as the casting threads may strip.

Boost Pressure Switch Plug Replacement
1.
For access to the boost pressure switch plug, disconnect the brake line from the rear inlet to the modulator, (leading from the rear brake
fitting of the proportioning valve). See Figure 28.
2.
Remove the steel plug and O-ring from the front end of the modulator switch housing, (Figure 28).
3.
Lubricate the supplied O-ring and plug assembly with clean brake fluid and install in the modulator switch housing.
4.
Tighten the plug to 13.5 ft.lbs. (18.3 N-m).
5.
Reconnect the brake line and tighten it to 10 ft.lbs. (13.6 N-m).
Reservoir Installation

Reservoir Installation
1.
Lubricate the supplied grommets with clean brake fluid and install them in the actuator ports.
2.
Lubricate the reservoir nipples with clean brake fluid.
3.
Press the rear reservoir nipple into the port nearest the mounting bracket. Then press the primary and secondary nipples into the actuator
grommets. The bottom of the reservoir must be flush with the grommets on all three ports.
4.
Inspect the complete circumference of each grommet pinched or buckled grommet or an excessive gap indicates that the reservoir is not
properly seated into the actuator.
5.
Connect the modulator-to-reservoir return hose to the nipple on the modulator, using a new clamp from the parts package. Tighten the
clamp to 10 in.lbs. (1.1 N-m).
Actuator Housing Replacement
I.
Actuator Housing Replacement (If required - see step C-10 of this Service Procedure)
1.
Disconnect the following lines:
a)
Actuator-to-modulator boost line -- disconnect from modulator.
b)
Accumulator inlet line to actuator -- disconnect from actuator.
c)
Primary brake line -- disconnect from actuator.
d)
Secondary brake line -- disconnect from actuator.
