Install a new clamp on the supply hose from the reservoir, (Figure 30).

Remove the cap from the end of the steel tube.

Lubricate the inside of the hose end with clean brake fluid. Connect the hose to the end of the steel tube. Position the clamp with the
screw on the opposite side of the hose from the fuel line (Figure 30). Tighten the clamp to 10 in lbs. (1.1 N-m).
8.
In the passenger compartment, install the nuts on the mounting bracket studs, (Figure 31). Tighten the nuts to 31 ft.lbs. (42 N-m).
9.
Align the brake pedal, brake light switch and master cylinder push rod end and install the push rod bolt, (Figure 31).
CAUTION:
The push rod bolt must be installed correctly to avoid interference with the dash panel bracket. The bolt must be installed with the bolt
head at the left side of the pedal as shown in Figure 31.
10.
Install new supplied nuts on the push rod bolt. Tighten the inner lock nut to
25 ft.lbs. (34 N-m). Tighten the outer jam nut to 75 in.lbs. (8.5 N-m).
11.
Connect the brake light switch wire connector.
