Remove the vacuum harness connector (G) from its bracket (H). Remove the nut (I) which secures the bracket and fuel return line (J) to the
intake manifold. (Figure 2)

Remove the vacuum hose (P) from the fuel pressure regulator (L). Remove the two screws (K) which secure the fuel pressure regulator to the
fuel rail (M). (Figure 2, 3)
8.
Disconnect the fuel return line (quick connect) from the fuel pressure regulator and remove the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel rail.

Verify that the fuel pressure regulator quick connect O-rings (N) and regulator-to-rail O-ring (Q) are in place. Install the new fuel pressure
regulator to the fuel rail. Secure the fuel regulator to the fuel rail with the previously removed screws. Install the fuel return line to the fuel
pressure regulator.
10.
Secure the fuel return line and the vacuum harness bracket to the intake manifold. Reinstall the vacuum harness connector to the bracket.
Connect the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line (P) to the fuel pressure regulator. (Figure 2)
11.
Remove the pressure test port cap and install an accurate fuel pressure gauge to the pressure test port (O) on the fuel rail. (Figure 2, 3)
12.
Set the parking brake and start the vehicle engine.
13.
Verify proper fuel pressure. Fuel pressure should be approximately 31 Psi with the vacuum hose (P) connected. (Figure 2)
14.
Stop engine, remove fuel pressure gauge and reinstall the fuel pressure test port cap.
