Insert one of the original retainer bolt and washer (B) into the smaller hole of the new CPS bracket and loosely install the new CPS to the
bellhousing. (Figure 3)

13.

Firmly press down on the elongated hole side (I) of the CPS bracket and tighten the outboard bolt (B) to 16 ft.lbs. (Figure 3)

IMPORTANT:

TO INSURE THAT THE DESIRE CPS OUTPUT IS OBTAINED, THE ELONGATED HOLE SIDE (I) OF THE CPS MUST
BE CONTACTING THE MACHINED LIP (H) OF THE BELLHOUSING. (Figure 3)

Insert bolt (D) and washer into the elongated hole of the CPS bracket and tighten to 16 ft.lbs. (Figure 4)
