Torque fasteners in sequence shown. Torque outboard nuts # 6 and # 7 to 17 ft.lbs. (23 N-m). Torque all other manifold bolts to 23 ft.lbs. (31
N-m), Figure 4.

Torque nuts # 12 and # 13 (EGR tube) to 30 ft.lbs. (41 N-m).

Install the intake manifold heat shield.

Inspect the fuel injector O-rings and replace as necessary. Install the fuel rail and injectors.

Install the power steering pump and bracket to the intake manifold. Using the adjusting bolt, tighten the serpentine drive belt to 150 lbs.ft. (668 N).
Torque the power steering pump mounting bolts to 20 ft.lbs. (27 N-m).

Install the radiator fan.

Using the supplied Fuel Hose Connection kit, install the fuel supply and return lines.

a.

Remove the old O-rings from the quick connect fittings.

b.

Push kit/disposable plug assembly into quick connect fitting until a "click" sound is heard (Figure 5).

c.

Grasp end of disposable plug and pull outward to remove it from the fitting.
