If equipped, remove the cruise control module to gain access to the ECU. Remove the three ECU retaining screws (M) and move the ECU and
harness out of the way. (Figure 6)

Remove a small amount of sound insulation (Q) to gain adequate access to the area below the bulkhead grommet (N). Figure 7

While inside the vehicle, locate the EEC harness bulkhead grommet (N). Mark and center punch a point on the firewall which is 1 inch directly
below the grommet. (Figure 7)

Drill a 1/2 inch diameter hole (P) through the firewall at this point. (Figure 7)
