Use fine grit crocus cloth to clean any corrosion from inside edge of axle tube end.

Obtain tool set J-34659. Slide adapter J-34659-4 over rod J-34659-3. Back off nut (13) on rod J-34659-3 approximately 50.8 mm (2 inches).
Thread seal remover J-34659-5 onto rod J-34659-3. Place assembly in axle tube with seal remover J-34659-5 up against seal (14) and adapter
J-34659-4 piloted in end of axle tube. Fig. 4

Strike end of rod J-34659-3 with a brass hammer to drive out old seal.

Remove old seal from adapter J-34659-5. Remove old seal through vacuum motor access hole.
20.
Remove rod J-34659-3 and adapter J-34659-4 from axle tube.
21.
Unscrew adapter J-34659-5 from rod J-34659-3.

Be sure that seal area (15) of the axle tube bore is clean of RTV sealant. Fig. 5
