Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

The Closed Throttle(Idle)Switch is integral with the ISA motor assembly.
1.
Disconnect throttle return spring, then the throttle cable and cruise control cable(if equipped).
2.
Disconnect WOT switch and ISA motor electrical connectors.
3.
Remove ISA motor and WOT switch bracket(3), Fig. 16, from throttle body.
4.
Remove motor to bracket retaining nuts(1). Do not remove nuts from motor studs below bracket. Use a suitable wrench to hold them in position
while removing retaining nuts.
5.
Remove motor(2) from bracket(3).
6.
Reverse procedure to install. Adjust idle speed as outlined in the ``Idle Speed Adjustments''chapter.
