Oil Pump: Service and Repair
Oil Pump Replacement
1.
Drain crankcase, then remove oil pan.
2.
Remove bolts attaching oil pump to cylinder block, then remove oil pump and gasket. Do not disturb positioning of oil pump strainer and tube. If
tube is moved, a replacement tube and screen assembly must be installed.
3.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque to specifications.
