Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect negative battery cable, then raise and support vehicle.
2. Disconnect cylinder fluid line at quick disconnect fitting.
3. Lower vehicle, then remove cotter pin and washer securing pushrod to pivot arm.
4. Remove clutch master cylinder attaching nuts, then the cylinder.
5. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a.
Torque cylinder attaching nuts to 19 ft. lbs.
b.
Bleed clutch hydraulic system refer to Transmission and Drivetrain/Clutch, M/T/Service and Repair.
