Using a hand held vacuum pump, apply 10-15 in. Hg. (34-51 kPa) vacuum to the Sole-Vac actuator (Figure 5).

Increase the engine speed to above 1200 RPM for 3 to 5 seconds and allow the engine to return to idle.

With the Sole-Vac throttle positioner fully extended, set the idle speed to 1100 RPM using the vacuum actuator adjustment screw on the
throttle lever (Figure 6).

Disconnect the vacuum source from the vacuum actuator.
