Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
EVAP Canister, Purge Solenoid and LDP Location
The duty cycle EVAP canister purge solenoid is located in the engine compartment on the EVAP canister mounting bracket.
1. Disconnect electrical wiring connector at solenoid.
2. Disconnect vacuum lines/hoses at solenoid.
3. Lift solenoid and rubber solenoid support from mounting bracket.
INSTALLATION
1. Install purge solenoid and rubber support to its mounting bracket.
2. Connect vacuum harness and wiring connector.
