Hood Hinge: Service and Repair
Removal
REMOVAL
1. Remove the cowl top panel (3), See: Cowl/Cowl Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Cowl Top Panel - Removal.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the hood to replace the hood hinges. Hood hinges can be replaced one at a time.
2. Support the hood with a suitable device.
3. Remove the hinge to body bolts (2).
4. Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark location of hood hinges (1) on hood (3) to aid installation.
5. Remove the hinge to hood bolts (2) and remove the hinge (1).
