during tube replacement.
10. Disconnect and save the master cylinder-to-HCU brake tube to allow access for removal of the right front brake tube (Figure 7).
11. Remove and discard the right front brake tube upper half from the HCU (Figure 7).
12. Install the top half of the new brake tube into the vehicle, start the brake tube flare nut into the HCU, but do not tighten at this time.
13. If the left rear brake tube is not being replaced, install the previously removed master cylinder-to-HCU brake tube. Tighten the flare nuts to 170 in.
lbs. (19 N.m).
14. Remove or relocate the following components to gain access to the lower half of the right brake tube:
a. Unsnap the engine coolant recovery reservoir from the radiator shroud, disconnect the coolant recover hose from the radiator, and remove the
reservoir assembly from the vehicle.
b. Loosen the engine air inlet tube clamp at the throttle body, then disengage the air cleaner housing from the retaining grommets and remove the
assembly from the vehicle.
c. Remove the one retaining bolt for the power steering fluid reservoir and set the reservoir aside.
