5. Using diagonal pliers, cut the right front brake line at the steering gear (Figure 5).
CAUTION:
The brake tube is under a slight amount of pressure due to the prop rod depressing the brake pedal. Place a rag over the brake tube while cutting the
tube to control the brake fluid if it squirts out.
6. Remove and discard the brake tube plastic retaining clip located on the frame rail under the steering gear (Figure 5).
7. Disengage the right front brake tube from the brake tube bundle clip (Figure 6).
8. Lower the vehicle from the hoist.
9. Using Mopar brake parts cleaner, clean the top surface of the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) to prevent dirt from entering any of the brake tube ports
