b. Install the steering damper nut on the tie rod steering damper bracket and tighten nut to 68 N.m (50 ft.lbs.) (Fig. 4) number 5.

NOTE: 

Index mark the final location of the damper bracket and all torqued fasteners

9. Once installation has been completed turn the steering wheel to the full right and then left position 3 times. Verify the damper bracket position, if

required reposition and re-torque fasteners.

10. Return the vehicle to the customer.
