Align the template provided in the parts package with the holes for the original weather strip as a guide (See Figure 1). Once the holes are aligned,
tape the template to the door to prevent any movement.

Using a center punch, mark the new hole locations.

6.

Drill the new holes in the location marked using a 5 mm (#9) drill.

NOTE:

THE TOP EXISTING HOLE ON THE "B" PILLAR (FULL DOOR) WILL NOT BE PRESENT ON THE TEMPLATE.

Apply a coating of corrosion resistant primer to the holes and allow sufficient time for the primer to dry

Install the new seal and retainer.

9.

Repeat this process for the opposite side. The template can be inverted for use on the other side.
