IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) MOTOR

The Idle Air Control (IAC) motor is located on the side of the throttle body (Fig. 34).
REMOVAL

Remove air cleaner tube at throttle body

Disconnect electrical connector from IAC motor.
Mounting Bolts (Screws)

Remove two mounting bolts (screws) (Fig. 37).

Remove IAC motor from throttle body.
INSTALLATION
1
Install IAC motor to throttle body.
2
Install and tighten two mounting bolts (screws) to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.) torque.

Install electrical connector.

Install air cleaner tube to throttle body.
