Reach through the glove box opening and disconnect the two passenger side air bag on/off switch connectors from the instrument panel harness.
These connectors are retained on a bracket located on the heater A/C housing (Figure 1).

Reaching through the glove box opening disengage the passenger side air bag on/off switch wire harness from the retaining clip on the bracket that
supports the heater housing.

Remove the floor console from the transmission tunnel. Refer to the Full Floor Console or Mini Console in the Removal and Installation section of
group 23 - Body for the procedures.
6.
Remove the three screws that secure the passenger side airbag on/off switch to the back of the switch bezel (Figure 2).
7.
Remove the passenger side airbag on/off switch from the bezel.
Installation
1.
Position the passenger side airbag on/off switch to the back of the bezel.
2.
Install and tighten the three screws that secure the switch to the bezel. Tighten the screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.).
