3. At the Curtis computerized key cutter -
a. Select F2 on the keyboard (Cut key by depths).
b. At the "KEY #:-------" prompt, enter KK7.
C. At the "Depths:------" prompt, enter the cut depths obtained from kdealer.net.
d. After the key is cut on both sides the next prompt will ask if you want to cut another key with the same code, press "S" for the same code. Due to
key blank hardness, the cutting wheel might not remove enough material from the key blank. Therefore, it's recommended to cut the same key blank
twice to ensure the key works properly.
Trace cutting: This procedure works for Soul and Forte keys.
Select "Trace Cutting" function key F3. At the screen prompt input KK7 for the key type. Then follow the on screen prompts to complete the trace
cutting procedure. After trace cutting a key, verify that the trace cut key operates all vehicle locks.
