SERVICE ACTION AUTO CRUISE CONTROL LOGIC UPDATE FOR UPHILL DRIVING PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT (5A013 REVISED)

*KMA is conducting a Service Action SA013 (revised) in relation to some early 2010 MY Forte / Koup models which were produced from Feb 24, 2009
to Aug. 19, 2009. The action will involve a reprogram of the cruise control logic and improve rough idle and/or P0304 logic for 2.0L vehicles with VCM
(Variable Charge Motion Actuator) ACC (Auto Cruise Control) reprogram will provide an uphill driving improvement and ensure that all Fortes are
operating with the same logic KMA does not believe that customers will be aware of any change in vehicles ACC (Auto Cruise Control) operation.*
To correct this condition, the ECM and/or TCM should be reprogrammed using the GDS download as described in this bulletin.
