FORTE (TD) AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT (ACU) CHANGE
This bulletin provides information about the replacement of Airbag Control Units (ACU) in Forte (TD) vehicles which depending on production date
may be equipped with or without drivers Seat Track Position Sensors (STPS). Vehicles manufactured up until Oct 19, 2009 are STPS equipped and
those manufactured afterward are not. It is critical that the correct P/N ACU be used or the SRS MIL may illuminate. Please refer to information below
for correct P/Ns of ACU for your reference.
Forte (TD) Airbag Control Unit (ACU) Replacement P/N's Information:
^ 95910 1M100 with version 1.2 is no longer available
^ 95910 1M100a with version 1.4 = Forte's with production date prior to 10/19/2009 with STPS
^ 95910 1M100 with version 1.3 or 1.4 = All Forte's with production date later than 10/19/2009 without STPS
CAUTION
It is critical that the correct P/N ACU be used or the SRS MIL may illuminate. Use the P/N information that is referenced above.
