2010 Soul and Forte Key Cutting

If your dealership does not have a key duplication machine a local qualified automotive locksmith should be contacted to assist with code cutting or trace
cutting keys for Soul and Forte.
If your dealership is equipped with a key duplication machine the following information may be helpful in cutting Soul and Forte Keys.
Soul and Forte key information:
Soul or Forte keys may be coded cut and/or trace cut with the following key duplication machines:
Framon, Winzer and Wurth
Code Cutting:
Framon manufactures the FRA-2001, a computerized key machine. It's sold by Winzer as the Accu-Cut and by Wurth as the Autocode. These machines
can duplicate/cut key blanks using the vehicle's key code. All three of these machines must have the latest code software (version 9) in order to
duplicate/cut a Soul or Forte key blank using the vehicle's key code. Version 9 code software will have the WC1001-3500 codes for the Soul, and will
soon have the WD1001-3500 series codes in the program for the Forte.
Framon manufactures the DC-300 that is a manual operated key machine. This machine is sold by several companies as the DC-300 and by Wurth as the
DuCode. Space key number 363 and cam 1FD/100B is needed to cut Soul/Forte keys on the DC-300 (DuCode) machine.

Barnes Distribution (Curtis) PC+ and PC Flash
Barnes Distribution manufactures the PC+ and PC Flash both are computerized key duplication machines. The PC+ is an older version of the PC Flash.
The PC+ uses floppy disks for updating code programs. The PC Flash uses a "flash" SD memory card for updating the code programs.
The latest code software version H2.5.0 needs to be installed on the PC+ or PC Flash machine prior to code cutting Soul keys. Software updates are
installed by Barnes Distribution (Curtis) representatives. Please contact your Barnes distributor or Barnes Distribution hotline for assistance with
updating your key machine. Barnes customer service number is (800) 726-9626.
Soul - Key Cutting Procedure:
Code cutting: If your PC+ or PC Flash has the latest software loaded (Version H2.5.0) you can cut Forte keys using the depth cutting procedure. This is
an interim procedure for cutting Forte keys until the PC+ or PC Flash is updated with Forte key codes.
Depth cutting: For Forte key duplication by key code:
1. Obtain key code from DCS.
2. Log on to kdealer.net to obtain cut depths for individual Forte key codes. At the home page for kdealer.net click on Key Codes located on the side bar.
Input your key code and select search. The next screen will display cut depths. Print the page or copy the cut depths for use at the Curtis computerized
