Make sure to cap open brake line. Too much fluid loss from master cylinder may cause difficulty when bleeding hydraulic system.

From behind backing plate, remove four bolts holding hub and bearing assembly to rear axle carrier and remove hub and bearing assembly.
7.
Remove retaining clip securing parking brake cable casing to backing plate and remove backing plate from vehicle.
8.
Transfer wheel cylinder to new backing plate, torque bolts to 9-13 lb-ft (12-18 Nm).
9.
Install parking brake cable into new backing plate and reinstall cable casing retaining clip.
10.
Position backing plate onto rear axle carrier.
11.
Reinstall hub and bearing assembly and torque bolts to 52-66 lb-ft (70-90 Nm).
12.
Reconnect brake hydraulic line.
13.
Install new brake shoes onto backing plate.
14.
Check the outside dimension of the shoes by turning auto adjuster to achieve 8.96-8.98 in. (227.6-228.1 mm).
15.
Reinstall brake drum, drum retaining screw and wheel, torque wheel nuts to 66-81 lb-ft (90-110 Nm).
16.
Repeat procedure for other rear side.
17.
Bleed brake hydraulic system and adjust fluid level.
