Do not rotate engine if camshaft timing is more than two teeth off; valve/piston contact may occur resulting in engine damage.

Verify that all marks are aligned while applying hand pressure to tensioner. If correct, remove locking pin from tensioner. Make sure all slack is
taken up (rotate crankshaft back and forth as required) and allow tensioner to stabilize for 15 minutes.

Rotate crankshaft two full turns, then recheck camshaft pulley timing. If incorrect, repeat step 15 and 16.

NOTICE
Due to the diameter/ratio difference between crankshaft and oil pump sprockets, the oil pump sprocket will appear out of time after turning
crankshaft 2 revolutions. Provided it was set correctly when you first adjusted the belt in step 15, there is no need to reset.
18.
Reinstall lower timing belt cover, pulleys, belts and splash shield in reverse order of disassembly.
19.
Install right front wheel and torque lug nuts to 66-81 lbs-ft. and lower vehicle.
20.
Install new upper timing belt cover.
21.
Reinstall engine cover.
22.
Apply campaign completion label in location shown.
