When "REPROGRAMMING COMPLETED" message is displayed, turn ignition key to the "OFF" position for a minimum of 20 seconds. Turn
Hi-Scan Pro off, remove reprogramming card and insert diagnostic card.

Start engine and verify normal operation.

Note:

Check ECM and TCM for diagnostic trouble codes and erase as needed. Proceed to Step 17.

Note:

If reprogramming was interrupted or did not complete properly, proceed to error mode reprogramming.

ERROR MODE REPROGRAMMING:

Turn ignition key to the "ON" position, turn Hi-Scan Pro on and select "17. RIO LOW SPEED ENG. STALL" and press the "ENTER" key.
