Some 2006 MY Rio vehicles may exhibit a squeak / rattle from the drivers seat. To correct this condition, replace the drivers seat track torsion bar with a
new upgraded version following the procedure below.

Service Procedure
REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:
1.
Remove the front and rear drivers seat track bolts / nut. Slide the seat all the way back and tilt rearward with seat back resting on rear seat cushion.
Raise the seat to the top position using both adjusting knobs (turn all the way clockwise).
2.
Remove the adjusting knobs and the front seat track side trim screw as shown.
