NOTICE: Boot on wheel side of driveshaft is different from boot on differential side of driveshaft.
2. Cover splines of transaxle end with tape.
3. 1 stall inner dust boot.
Notice
a) Always use new bands.
b) Bands should be installed so that their pointed ends initially point in forward direction of rotation.
4. Install dynamic damper and band.
5. Fold band back by pulling on end with pliers.
6. Dock end of band by bending its locking clip.
7. Stall outer boot.
NOTICE: Do not damage bearing.
8. Align marks and carefully install tripod joint with a drift and a hammer.
9. Install snap ring with snap ring pliers.
10. Apply grease included in rebuild kit to the tripod joint, outer ring and boot.
11. Install outer ring.
