Check caliper slide pin bushings for damage and clean or replace as necessary.
11.
Apply a very thin coat of high-pressure caliper grease to caliper contact points on anchor.
12.
Push back caliper piston with caliper spreader or large pliers.
13.
Install pads in caliper.
Note:
Make certain to remove protective backing from anti-spread material on outboard pad.
14.
Reinstall caliper and torque caliper slide pins to 19-21 lb-ft (26-28 Nm).
15.
Reinstall slide pin dust covers, then reinstall spring clip onto caliper.
16.
Reinstall wheels and torque lug nuts to
65 - 87 lb-ft (88 - 118 Nm).
17.
Lower vehicle, pump brake pedal and check/adjust brake fluid level as needed.
