Brake Pedal Assy: Adjustments
1. Distance from top center of brake pedal to floor mat should be 7.60-7.72 inches.
2. Disconnect brake pedal switch connector (E), Fig. 4.
3. Loosen locknuts (B) and turn switch (A) until it does not contact pedal.
4. Loosen locknuts (D) and turn rod (C) to adjust height of brake pedal.
5. Tighten brake pedal switch until plunger is completely compressed, then turn additional 1/2 turn and tighten locknuts.
6. Verify operation of stoplights.
7. Adjust pedal freeplay by loosening locknut (D) and turning rod (C).
8. Pedal freeplay should be 0.16-0.28 inch.
