Oil Filter: Description and Operation
FILTER SELECTION
All KIA Motors Corporation engines are equipped with a high quality, disposable oil filter. This filter is recommended as a replacement filter for all
vehicles. The quality of after market replacement filters is various considerably.
High quality of replacement filters should be used to assure the most efficient service. Make sure that the rubber gasket from the old oil filter is
completely removed from the contact surface on the engine block before installing a new filter.
