5. Remove the steering wheel using SST (09561-11002).
CAUTION: Do not hammer on the steering wheel Doing so may damage the collapsible column mechanism.
6. Remove the steering column the few and high cover
7. When disconnecting the connector of the clock spring from the airbag module, pull the airbag's lock toward the outer side to spread it open.
CAUTION: When disconnecting the airbag module-clock spring connector take care not to apply excessive force to it.
