07-09 Sorento HVAC Air Filter Replacement
When replacing the HVAC air filter on 07-09 Sorentos models, there are two (2) air filtered that will need to be replaced every 10,000 miles of service.
Please follow these steps to ensure both filters are replaced.
1. Open Dash Storage Compartment.
2. Remove the stops on each side of the storage compartment.
3. Remove damper if equipped to lower storage compartment door as shown in photo. Support storage compartment door as required to prevent damage
to the hinge assembly.
4. remove access cover as shown.
5. Slide out the first filter, then slide the second filter to the left and pull out as required. Replace filter element only, filter frame not required.
6. Installation is the reversal or removal.
