TIMING BELT INSPECTION

1. Inspect the timing belt for damage, wear, peeling, cracking and/or hardening.
2. Replace if necessary.
3. Replace the timing belt if there is any oil or grease on it.

TIMING BELT COVERS (UPPER AND LOWER) INSPECTION

1. Inspect the timing belt covers for damage or cracks.
2. Replace if necessary.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the lower timing belt cover.
2. Install the two lower timing belt cover bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 84 in.lbs. (10 Nm)

3. Install the upper timing belt cover.
4. Install the four upper timing belt cover bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 84 in.lbs. (10 Nm)
