Timing Belt: Service and Repair
Removal
TIMING BELT REMOVAL
1. Remove the timing belt cover.
2. Loosen the A/C idler pulley nut (A).
3. Remove the A/C belt by loosening the adjusting bolt (B).
4. Remove the generator drive belt.
5. Loosen the P/S pump lock bolt (A) and mounting bolt (B).
6. Remove the P/S belt off the crankshaft damper pulley and place aside.
7. The the crankshaft and align the timing mark on the front housing and the arrow at "2" on the camshaft pulley.
