Ignition Coil: Testing and Inspection
Test
IGNITION COIL VOLTAGE CHECK
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the ignition coil connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch to 'ON.
4. Measure voltage "B" at both the white and the red wire at the ignition coil connector.
Voltage: approximately 12 Volts
5. If no voltage, check main fuse, ignition switch and wire harness.
