Inspection of Sensor Heater
Test
INSPECTION
1. Ensure the ignition switch is off.
2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
3. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals B and C of the sensor connector.
Specification: Approx. 6 ohms @ 68°F (20°C)
4. If not as specified, replace the heated oxygen sensor.
Tighten to 22 - 36 lb ft (30 - 49 Nm)
5. Reconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
