Voltage VS Throttle Angle

VOLTAGE INSPECTION

1. Verify that the throttle is at the closed throttle position.
2. Use a DC voltmeter to back probe the sensor.
3. Turn the ignition switch on.
4. Connect the voltmeter between terminal A (YEL/BLK wire) and C (GRN/WHT wire) on the throttle position sensor connector.
5. Verify that the throttle valve is at the closed throttie position.
6. Fully open throttle valve and verify that the voltage at terminal A is within the specification.
7. If not as specified, replace the throttle position sensor.
