Raise the vehicle and check for fluid leaks.
20.
Lower the vehicle then check the automatic transmission fluid level and add fluid as necessary.
ATF Fluid Specification:
ATF Dexron IIE or MIII
CAUTION
Do Not overfill the automatic transmission.
21.
Road test the vehicle and confirm that the automatic transmission is functioning properly.
22.
Position the vehicle securely on a hoist then raise it and check for leaks.
23.
Lower the vehicle. Ensure that the vehicle is on a level surface then recheck the automatic transmission fluid level and fill as necessary.
CAUTION
Do Not overfill the automatic transmission.
