1.

Raise the rear of the vehicle and remove both rear wheels.

2.

Remove four (4) nuts on each brake drum and take off drums.

3.

Locate the four (4) rear axle bearing seal retainer nuts. Torque the nuts to 74 lb/ft. (100 N.m)

NOTE:

Rotate the axle shaft by hand as necessary to gain access to each nut.

4.

Reinstall the brake drums and nuts. Torque nuts to 123-145 lb/ft. (167-196 N.m).

5.

Reinstall the wheels and lug nuts. Torque lug nuts to 65-80 lb/ft. (88-108 N.m).

6.

Using a center punch, place a punch mark under the letter "K" of the VIN, which is stamped into the passenger side frame rail.
