Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT

OUTSIDE HANDLE REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the following items;

A. Door trim.
B. Glass.
C. Rear channel.

2. Disconnect the outside handle rod (A) and lock rod (B).
3. After removing the outside handle mounting bolt, remove the outside handle base (C) and key cylinder.

4. After removing key cylinder (A) and outside handle base (B), remove the outside handle lever(C).

5. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
-

Roll the glass and down to see if it moves freely without binding.

Make sure the door locks and opens properly.
