Sportage 2WD 2Dr L4-2.0L (2002)
1.
Remove the two bolts and the clamp from the air intake assembly.
2.
Remove the air intake assembly.
3.
Remove the four bolts from the radiator shroud.
4.
Remove the four nuts from the cooling fan assembly to pulley mount.
5.
With the radiator shroud loose, remove the cooling fan assembly being careful not to damage the radiator fins.
6.
On the work bench, remove the four bolts that secure the cooling fan to the clutch.
7.
Transfer the clutch to the new cooling fan.
Torque specification: 78-104 lb-in (8.8-11.7 N-m)
8.
Reinstall the new cooling fan with clutch to the pulley and secure with four nuts.
Torque specification: 68-100 lb-in (7.7-11.4 N-m)
9.
Reattach the fan shroud with the four bolts.
