Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

Removal 

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Loosen the two air intake hose clamps and remove the air intake hose.
3. Remove four exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.

4. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

5. Remove five converter inlet pipe flange locknuts.
6. Remove nine exhaust manifold bolts.
7. Remove exhaust manifold and gasket.

Installation 

1. Install the exhaust manifold gasket.
2. Install the exhaust manifold.
