Headlight Assemblies

Removal

CAUTION:  When a removing or installing any electrical units, wiring or electrical connectors, disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent

possible short circuits which could lead to personal injury and/or property damage.

1. Open hood. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Locate the white plastic ring near the outboard side of the headlight; pull ring to disengage spring lock on front combination light assembly.

3. From outside the vehicle, carefully pull the combination light assembly away from the vehicle.
4. Disconnect electrical connector. Set combination light assembly aside.
5. Remove four threaded plastic fasteners from top of grille.
6. Disengage grille from clips, remove from vehicle and set aside.
7. Remove four bolts attaching headlight assembly to vehicle.
