21. Remove the starter.
22. Relocate the starter to clear hoses.
23. Disconnect the clamp for heater return hose.
24. Remove the heater pipe rear bracket bolt an the transmission.
25. Remove the heater return hose from the pipe.
26. Lower vehicle.
27. Remove the exhaust manifold.
28. Remove the heater pipe left front bracket bolt.
29. Remove the heater pipe from the water inlet.
30. Remove the complete heater pipe assembly.
Installation
1. Install a new O-ring on the heater pipe assembly.
2. Position the pipe at the rear of the block for installation.
3. Install the heater hose.
4. Install the pipe into the inlet housing.
