Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Intake Air Temperature Sensor
Inspection
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect IAT sensor connector.
3. Using a ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the IAT sensor.
Resistance 2.21 - 2.69 kOhm 68 °F = (20 °C)
4. If not as specified, replace IAT sensor.
5. Connect the IAT sensor.
